Meet Finley (she/they)…..

I’m Finley…. I ‘m a counsellor based in Malvern, Victoria. I also see clients from all over Australia and the world via Telehealth.

I am a qualified counsellor having studied in the Graduate Diploma of Counselling program at VU with a special interested in child and adolescent counselling. I have also studied in the Bachelor of Arts (Psychology) program at VU and the Post Graduate Diploma of Psychology program at Federation University.

Over my life I have spent the last 20 years caring for people in a multitude of professions. I’ve worked in public and catholic schools, in disability and now as a counsellor.

I firmly believe in the old saying, “If you love what you do, you’ll love doing it”. I really enjoy helping people navigate life obstacles, plan for the future and celebrate the victories. Life will always have a curveball to throw in our direction and it’s my job to help you learn to manage those situations.

Outside of work I like to take the occasional Ballet class, practice my photography skills, do a little DIY around the house, play the occasion video game and spend time with my loving partner and our beautiful dog, Roxy.

Meet Roxy

I’m Roxy… I’m 10 years old and my favourite thing to do is take walks on the beach and snooze on the couch.

You can see me in the office on Wednesday’s and Friday’s. I’ll be my happiest if you're petting my head or scratching behind my ear.

If you’d rather I wasn’t in the office please let Finley know. I know not everyone loves dogs and I won’t be offended.
